There is a lot of questions and drama around it. Rumors around incorrect dip sticks, typos in the manual, etc.
It's all in the process of being updated, but if you want to know now contact your dealer's service department and ask them to pull up the following service bulletins:
EDIT— Realized I was kind of beating around the bush a bit—didn't mean to do that. It's 6 quarts. But if you ask your dealer and they say 6 quarts then you can say with certainty that your dealership's service department advised you it was 6 quarts. Better than
"random guy on internet said 6 quarts".
