2022 Black Diamond with only 12k miles. Went out of warranty in Sept. Battery died when the last cold front came through. Replaced battery and parking brake warning light and traction control warnings start going nuts. Vehicle was running fine when last parked before the battery died. Now parking brake would not engage but dash keeps saying to release brake, etc. Seemed to drive fine except for the warning lights and annoying beeping. Took it to the dealer and said U3000…. something error code, Need to replace: Booster Brake ABS Control unit Power
Incl.ABS Module, Master Cylinder. $2500 part plus labor. They said sorry, out of warranty. Didn’t seem interested in checking with Ford to see about any help. You would figure with a major safety issue, low miles, just a few months out of warranty might offer some goodwill? Bought a 2024 Hertitge from same dealer too. Would think they might have some sympathy.

Any others have this problem? Get any assistance?

Sounds like something had to happen between the bad battery & the replacement. Not sure if you had someone replace the battery or you did it yourself but here are some things I can think of at the moment. Hope something helps!
Is the replacement battery the exact same (AGM & Size) as the factory battery? If the new battery isn't supplying the proper volts it will cause problems. Also, new vehicles have a ton of sensitive electrical equipment and require precautions, such as when jump starting, charging & changing the battery. Was the battery ever jump started by another vehicle? Was there any accidental arcing when disconnecting or connecting the new battery? Was the Bronco off for at least 2 mins before disconnecting the battery to let the power management hold system discharge? Was the battery sensor reset after new battery installed? Steering angle sensor & windows reset? These are just some examples. Hopefully it has something to do with your new battery or the ABS has to relearn the voltage or something on those lines. Also, I would take a look at the manual on your Ford app to see if anything sticks out or helps. Lets us know if you get it figured out.

The ABS module is located directly adjacent to the "rear" of the battery. And there is wiring right there which is recommended to be tied back when replacing the battery. I would recommend removing the battery (5 minute task) and inspecting it, especially the wiring connections.

Recommend watch video, especially at 4-minute mark.
