My Bronco Outer Banks is finally here!! (Previous threads here and here)

So happy that my dealership didn't upcharge me for it, got us amazing loan interest rates, and gave us a great deal on warranty ($2500 for 10 year / 100,000 miles bumper-to-bumper). Truly honorable and honest folks down at Winner Ford in Dover, DE. The long distance is worth it, seeing how every other dealership in the more populated towns would charge over MSRP.

Also, apparently Ford's order tracking site lags behind quite a bit... still showing Shipped when I already drove it home. LOL!

I guess now I'll just need to figure out how to sell the take-off wheels + tires and the side steps.

I'll be replacing them to get better ground clearance.

Congrats! I have a very similar build with a build week of 4/18. Do you have a plan yet for how you’re going to lift it and get new wheels/tires? I’m thinking about doing that to mine as well.

These are the wheels and tires I bought to replace the stock ones, which I scheduled to get installed in 2 weeks:

ICON Rebound wheels (25mm offset), on sale on MBGram (I bought them on ExtremeTerrain with price match).

1644332324334.png

As for the tires, a friendly wheel & tire expert at extremeterrain.com recommended the Ironman All Country A/T 285/70R17 tires, which seem to be excellent value.

1644333327937.png

I'm trying to just customize my Bronco with those *slightly* larger and wider tires (33 inches) for now, because I want to get used to the car first before touching the suspension.

When it comes time to replace tires again, I might consider adding a 1.5-inch spacer lift kit (something like this one) and slapping on some 35-inch tires. I made sure that the size and offset of the ICON Rebound rims will be compatible with 35s.

That should look really Nice. Please post pics after the install.
Keep us posted on those Ironman ATs I was thinking of using those for my Teardrop build.

Awesome, I’m thinking something similar too. Definitely post pictures once you get it done.
Only worry I have is that it might mess with the Warranty? Not quite sure how that works and I was going to ask my dealer. I’m thinking of getting a 2’’ level/lift too

Good to check on Warranty but the fender liner on the broncos say "Lift Me Baby" so they know it is going to happen, and encourage it.

Congratulations. Just curious, how long did it take between when you got the message it was BUILT and when the status changed to SHIPPED? Mine was BUILT 2 weeks ago, but still hasn't shipped despite my email from Ford saying this process would only take "a few days to a week".

I'd say within two days. I was checking the order tracker almost every day during that time, and the status seems to switch over straight from "In Production" to "Shipped" for me. This was the screenshot I took on 3/4/2022. Note that neither the the order tracker nor Ford's emails are reliable though. For example, the page still got stuck on "Shipped" even after I took delivery of the car.
