Where am I in line?

A couple of things I would like to know.
A) where am I in line at my dealer.
B) where is my dealer inline with Ford.
C) with my reservation where does that put me.
Then if everything was “normal” I would know hey if you didn’t have “xyz” you would be getting your Bronco.

I get it, but wats the big secret with what place I am in-line locally and nationally?

A) ask your dealer that
B) Again ask your dealer their allocation numbers
c) that doesn't really matter anymore, Ford said it was the determining factor and now its the farthest from determining anything

A) ask your dealer that

I have asked my dealer and they have told me they don't have an allocation list at all. everyone keeps saying that they are number ## of ### and when i tell them that they are completely clueless on what I am talking about.

They all got allocation numbers back in like April I think it was. But in reality, their allocation really doesn't mean anything anymore since Ford is just throwing any vehicle they can build in, instead of the reservation timestamp as they promised. I could be #1 at my dealer but since i have a WT, LUX, TOW I wont get it until ??? So, my #1 is worthless

I wanted to know the same things. The salesperson stated that they could not tell me and time stamps really don't matter.

Nope, they don't anymore, Ford wants to build Broncos so they just tossed the early reservation holders to the side and is going the easier route and doing the low trims Base, etc, and soft tops since they have fewer man-hours involved in that too.

There really isn't a "line" until you get a VIN number assigned. It all depends on what commodities you ordered and when they are available.

I don’t think reservation/order dates mean anything. Every dealership is going to get allocated a certain amount of units on a rolling basis, and I bet it’s the dealerships that determine who gets their build and when.

That’s true. When I talked with mine the first time, he said 7, a few weeks ago, I asked him and we’re at 8…out of 70. Where I fall? he wouldn’t/didn’t say

Back in January when I converted my res to an order I was told I was about 180 of 450 and they had an allocation of 80 now they are telling me if I ditch the hardtop I will move up to have a good chance of getting one this year.
Also I always wondered about these group buys and dealerships like Grainger that may have 100 day one reservation but are only getting 50 Broncos, that will leave a lot of day 1s holding on for a MY22. Seems strange to me.

I find it all kind of hard to believe now. The dealers are Fords customers (not us). We are the dealers customers. So, what does that mean, dealers have plenty of buyers. Why not get the vehicles on the lots and charge more for the vehicles that a lot of people will do.
I hope there is no truth to that, however I would just like to see some Broncos running of the line.
I guess I can wait? Kind of need a new vehicle soon. This is not just a fun vehicle for me, it will be my daily driver and weekend warrior.

Yeah I had to replace my daily driver in February it was 13years old and 360k miles. The Bronco will replace my wife’s 12 year old daily driver just hope it hold out long enough. We are planning to share the Bronco. So yeah it will be my wife’s.
