What's the hold up?

I ordered my Bronco on June 3rd, 2021. Knowingly, it would be a 2022 model. I received a confirmation that day. Fast forward to October 21st 2021, I received another order confirmation and have been thinking I should have heard a build date by Jan-Feb. I see people on other forums receiving theirs on dates after I've put mine in. I just had to extend my F150 lease in hopes I'll hear something by October. Any idea what's my hold up? I have not heard anything from my dealership either..

2 dr, 2.7, tow and who knows what else will do it. Along with ongoing chip issues, parts constraints and dealer ship allocations. I reserved in October of 2020, 1st order February of 2021, second in October of 2021. Many many people still waiting with older orders. The same as it has been since the order banks opened. I hope for sometime this year. Could be next. Your dealership won’t contact you because they won’t have any information until your order is pulled or the next dear John letter from Ford.

Sit back and relax, in fact every Thursday we have a few drinks to celebrate not getting our build dates. :giggle:
By the time I put my reservation in on 7/30/2020 there were 190,000 folks ahead of me. Now if we say 25% did not convert that leaves us with 142,500. they have closed the order banks in March so I don't know how many more orders accumulated by then. There have been lots of folks that have ordered a bronco and have been delivered in a few months but the Vast majority have been waiting years for their build date. Most of us did have to wait almost a year from when we made a reservation and when they started to build these things. The Back log is getting chopped down fast, just not as fast as some of us would like.

Hope you get lucky ! I'm still waiting from a 7/24/2020 reservation. Did all the ordering on time and even dropped the tow to help it along. I'm hoping I get a build date in the next round of scheduling but no one knows. Best bet ,if you have a good dealer, is to pump him for what his allocation is and where you stand in his order bank . You might get a feel for your chances if you know those two things. Once you are up, if Ford has parts for your particular build is the other wild card to getting your ride.

There are still 2D folks who reserved 7/13-7/15 2020 who ordered 1/21 and reordered 10/21 who haven't heard anything yet.

I sold my vehicle, now I'm stuck driving a damn minivan, damn embarrassing!
