In January, some 190k were entered into Ford's bank of orders or whatever. I didn't order until May 26, curious just how much farther I am in line than 190,000+.

Anybody know? I searched via google and got nothing.

Ford stated they had 190k reservations at the end of October. If you reserved at the end of May, you're probably around a gazillion, give or take a bunch.

Ford stated that by August, they should be at full production, at 600 vehicles a shift, with a split of 5 broncos to every 1 ranger. 2 shifts a day M-F with 1 shift on Saturday. Whether they can actually run at full production with the supply constraints is the question.

That means 6600 units a week. 5280 Broncos a week (a mile of broncos ;) ) That is 40 weeks to do 190000 units.

So the current 125,000 orders may well be done in Q12022 if the supply chain can support 5280/week consistently.

Anyone else wondering if they are only doing customer orders or are they doing dealership orders as well. At the very least they had to do mannequins for the dealerships. Might want to tack on a few more to what they need to build for orders. Last I heard they are hoping to catch up by late spring or next summer. However, when the ‘22 orders and reservations start who knows what’s going to happen. I have a feeling they will be chasing their tail with the Broncos for a while.

Dealers don't have any orders available, they are only getting 2 Demos, which since Ford is smart is building those before all the customer builds go out. Seems legit to do demos since they have over 100,000 orders waiting already. Why not stack on another 50.000 or hat eve that number will be. Oh sorry sir, I know you loved the demo truck we have here just register right here and you should have it maybe late 2023 LOL

With the launch of the 2022 Ford Lightning and Maverick, as well as the Bronco Raptor/Warthog they are forced to get the 2021 Bronco backlog completed in early Q1. Otherwise those launches could be impacted. My dealer says there are 100’s of F150’s built just waiting for chips. Dealer lots are empty so Ford has not choice but to catch up.

The Warthog/Raptor is rumored maybe a 23MY so there are no Bronco issues except the 125,000+ orders waiting to get theirs.
Not a chance they complete all 125K before the Nov cutoff date for 22MY. To hit that number they would have to be at full production come July first running 600 trucks per shift 2 a day plus a Saturday shift and then you would hit 130K come Nov. But Ford already said they hope in Aug they will be close to full production. I still see a parts issue especially MIC for many months to come.

Maybe when they stop making Rangers and focus on SOLD Broncos they can catch up.
