Road trip!!!

Anyone have a vehicle they regret getting rid of?

I regret getting rid of this 1957 F100. We brought it back from Yuma, Az. It was SOLID and had a 352. It was a manual and had a creeper gear.

Let’s see some pictures!!!

My first car was identical to this. An Ivy Green 1965 Mustang convertible with white roof and white interior. After owning it for several years, I traded it in on a Ford Ranger. Although I loved that Mustang, I also started a love affair with pickup trucks thanks to the Ranger.

Not sold, but had a mk1 tt 225 roadster.

Great car, but crappy tires as it'd hydroplane and didnt have enough at the time to replace them. Long and short, sleety weather one day, lose control and while I avoid it going into the F1/250 (was one or the other), wound up 200ft in a ditch.

Shame, miss that little girl. I walked away in 1 piece, knock on wood, but she was totalled

In college I had a 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that looked like the one below. Just couldn't continue to afford the gas. Should have found a way and never sold it. Guess how long I am planning on owning the new Bronco? ;)

Not my picture.

It wasn’t mine, but my favorite car to date was my moms ‘97 explorer sport. It’s probably because of the dates I went on in H.S... but I loved that truck.

There are songs guitars I regret selling though...

1972 Custom 10 identical to this. It was passed down to me but then I stupidly “upgraded” to a newer truck in high school. I didn’t really sell it, but it was given to a family friend who said he would never let it go. I miss that truck. 93377CCF-0D5D-4185-BA0B-DAA9731C02C6.jpeg

Didn't sell.it, but...

'67 mustang, 289 bored out to 310 and a wicked loping cam. Got totaled out, Rear ended so hard the trunk was in the back seat. Sold the engine off to a guy that ran quarter miles on the weekend, said it was the best engine he had ever run at the time. ☹️

1999 Isuzu Amgio 4x4 3.2L v6 Soft top in black. I bought it cheap-$1500.00 in 2013 and cried when I found out the frame was rotten in too many places to make it worth fixing. I sold it to a guy who was going to try putting it on a Jeep frame for $500.00. I had a hard top for it and an extra soft top I bought because the windows were trashed (in the soft top that I bought it with). So fun to drive and it would do through mud like it was nothing. From videos I'd seen a lot of guys that had these would rock crawl with them. I will miss the Amigo (Zuzie) until I get the Bronco. Zuzie2015.jpeg

Yes and No ????
2001 F250 4x4 ext. cab , 7.3L Powerstroke diesel
LOVED that truck, probably more than any car I've evr owned...including the 69 Bronco I have, but it was getting rust through REALLY bad by the time I traded it in.
Every time I start to think about how I should have kept it, I remember that horrible feeling of rolling under it on a creeper for half an hour just looking at how thoroughly it was rusting out from underneath.

Was test driving an Outback when the steel brake line on my truck blew out due to all the rust, right there in the dealer parking lot.

Sales manger said, "Well, if that's not a fucking sign you need to buy this today..."

And it was the one day I was just keeping up with traffic too xD

Thanks, could of been worse, now what to do with my A4, as while it's my alt car, haven't really been alternating with it lately

*Thinking now, don't wanna sell it as I'd rather trade it, just where to ask, as Craigslist is craigslist

Still missing my 2017 GT350. Driving my wife’s 2019 GT isn’t helping. This and the delays are making me think about another Mustang. Mach 1 is looking nice right now Since the GT350 is out of production and used market is inflated.

I really don't have any early vehicles that I wish I had kept. Never really could afford anything nice.
The 2 road vehicles that I still wish I had is my old 2004 Excursion with the 6.0 Diesel and my 2012 Mustang Boss LS. Of course I will always miss my old racecars.
The Excursion was a do everything vehicle for me. It hauled my family on vacations all over the US. Had enough room for 3 kids and still plenty of room for our luggage. I initially pulled my race car and then later my Boss to different race tracks through out the US. I would sleep in the back at rest stops going to and coming from the racetracks. Even had a few nights sleeping at the track since you could get a full size air mattress in the back. I hauled FEMA trailers to Florida and Louisiana after hurricanes just to make some extra money for the upcoming race season. A few years ago I decided to donate it to an orphanage in Haiti that my church was sponsoring. We filled the back up completely with donated supplies and my wife and I drove it down to Miami so it could be loaded up in a storage container.
The Mustang was such a fun car. I normally only drove it on weekends when the weather was nice. I still kick myself for ever getting rid of it but there were a lot of circumstancing at the time that warranted the sale.

Here is a picture of the dynamic duo.
Excursion Mustang.jpg

Here I am with a bunch of the kids at the orphanage in Haiti with the ole Excursion in the background. You would be amazed how many kids they could put in the truck to go to church. There is quite a difference between seating capacity and Haitian seating capacity. lol
Excursion Haiti.jpg

Here I am on the high banks of Daytona. I attended a Audi event that used the 24hrs of Daytona road course. Hit the rev limiter 2 times a lap at 155 mph. I miss the adrenaline rush I would get from that car.
