That depends entirely on what you ordered. If you ordered an upper trim Badlands/Wildtrak I definitely would expect to get bumped to 2023. If you ordered a fairly basic Base, Big Bend, or Outer Banks… you may get lucky and get a build date later this year.
The more options you added to your vehicle, the longer the wait. Based on information Ford provided a few months ago, the big heavy-hitters that severely delay your build are the hard top and tow package. Then there are a few “lesser” options that also cause delays such as the Lux package, Sasquatch package, etc. But for the vast majority of people, the hard top is what is holding their orders back.
The shortest wait times seem to be for the 4-door soft top Big Bend with 10-speed automation transmission.
