Things that are really important...

Those of us that have not yet won the Bronco lottery didn't get good news today, but I think its important to take a step back and remember a few things.

1. While Memorial Day is mostly celebrated as the unofficial start of the summer season, it's a day to give thanks and remembrance to all of the brave men and women that have served their country, especially those that paid the ultimate price. Their service and sacrifice has guaranteed our freedom for almost 250 years.

2. We can celebrate this Memorial Day weekend safely with friends and family.

Waiting a little longer for our Broncos isn't what any of us want, but in the grand scheme of things, that's all it is. A bit of a wait. A lot more important things to think about this weekend.

And a special thanks to all of the service members and veterans active on these boards.

I'll especially be thinking about Cym Lowell (June 2, 1946 - Feb 23, 2021, Active Duty USN 1964-1966, USS Carter Hall. RIP Dad.
