Anyone else been waiting for this long....

Just wondering if anyone on here has received their Bronco 4Dr 4x4 hardtop badlands. I made my reservation for the Bronco in 8/2020, went to the dealership and signed paper work for a 2021 on 1/27/21. Then I received an email from Ford telling me that there was a paint problem for the top and my dealership would be reaching out to me ......I waited for a couple of months... they didn't so I called them. I went in changed the finish of the black paint to whatever was in stock and resigned the paper work for a 2022 on 11/2021. Finally after 11 months got an email from Ford motor company that they had received my order on 11/22/2021. Now its 5/2022 and my order has not changed from confirmed.... so no date for scheduled production or built, or shipped.... NOTHING. I have called the dealership and they tell me I will know something before they do. I then called ford and they can not provided me with any updates. I get being patient but this is crazy!!!!!!! I don't want anymore consolation gifts...stickers, hammock, posters.... I just want to know when I will get the Bronco. #19 months and counting.... I have never owned a FORD always a GMC not sure I made the right move.....

Oh you made the right choice. This new version of the Bronco is an iconic vehicle. It's just a horrible set of circumstances that have combined to delay delivery of yours, and many others Broncos.

I can definitely empathize with your frustration, but think of it this way. You'll probably get a vehicle without some of the first model year issues that plague most vehicles.

If you can believe some of the things you hear, and read, this backlog should begin breaking free. I've actually seen 4dr hard tops in the wild on at least 4 occasions, and some 2 doors as well.

That, and GMC over FORD ??!! Fuuuuget about it...

Hanging in there myself, not nearly as long. It's such a pain and frustrating, what makes it worse is when the dealership lies to you about the turnaround time when you initially order but the truth is in these forums and you put down more than what you're seeing others for a deposit (they required $500, at the time I was seeing others only requiring $100-300).

"It will only take 4 months max from what we're seeing"

nearly 6 months later....

So far my dealer's been very upfront about when I can expect delivery.

Initially they said I could see a late 2022 model or a 2023 model year, and I ordered in February 2022.

I’m just trying to keep chill, and not gonna get antsy until sometime towards the end of this year.

You must have someone on the inside then, because I can tell you Reservations didn't open up till the middle of July 2020.
I am just surprised that if you have someone on the inside, why your not driving around in your Bronco for the last year... ;)

Sorry that it has been so long, however the hardtop was one of the biggest issues, didn't matter if it was a 2 door or 4 door, it has always been one of the biggest part constraints.
Good luck to you on getting that dream vehicle!

Thousands of July 20' reservations, Jan/21' and 10/21' order holders are still waiting. That's all I've ever owned were Fords......still frustrating.

Thanks for posting pictures! Now I know what mine will actually look like :) . I had been tossing around changing the color from white, but I won't now.

I've been waiting since July of 2020 for my 2dr Badlands 7sp MIC top. That's the extent of my build- no SAS, no tow. I called FMC again this week and was told that "the order banks have been shut down to focus on so many backorders like these."....Probably the most honest answer I've received from Ford. Hopefully soon. But I'm in the same boat - a clean order confirmation and nothing more than that.

It seems that the line is moving now. My 2nd day res just popped. I got the email at 729 am this morning. My Badlands has been built and is awaiting shipment. Hopefully, all early res. holders will start to see some movement soon. Badlands 4dr SAS Mic Lux and other stuff. Took the tow off about 6 weeks ago - may have helped some. Good luck to you and to everybody still waiting.

I ordered 10/19/21, my dealer was awesome and upfront, and told me to expect 12-18 months until delivery. I'm hoping to receive it sooner, but since there's been no change in my status (order in progress), I'm going to assume they were right on the money and just hold tight. Keep the patience! Just allocate more money toward your deposit!
