What is this soft top and is it available on the 4dr? I can't stand the standard softop but if I could get a fast back like this I would have YESTERDAY! Not to mention why isn't this being offered on the 2dr. Things would certainly be moving faster by freeing up some hardtop allocation from all the 2dr orders.

I think it's the one made by beestop (however it's spelled). If we could have Ford put them on the 2dr we'd have a lot of happy Bronco owners!

Ok so maybe Most Bronco owners would be happy! I need a hardtop for Winter but my Bronco will live in the garage for the most part during the week. I could go one season with a softtop if I had to. And I do like the fastback.

Most be something up with Bestop and Fords agreement. You can't find anything on their website for the 2021. Clearly they are making them but you can only get them on a new Bronco through Ford. But Ford only offers one crappy version. Makes no sense if they are trying to get this backlog of reservation holders cleared up.

I don't think the one on the 2dr pictured here looks bad at all. 100% agree the 4dr one looks terrible. If all I was ever gonna get was a softtop I wouldn't be thrilled, but if I could have both I would be fine getting the hardtop later.....maybe not 2 years later though

I don't like the fastback, or whatever it's called. My understanding is that is the Bestop Trekback top, and is not available to the public (for the Bronco). Bestop is making some one-offs (but many more than one) for Ford 2D Broncos, but they are not the OEM supplier so it is not available. Bestop is the OE provider for Jeep, and makes both the stock tops, and "aftermarket" variations, including the Trektop (slant/fastback).

I don't like it as much on the Jeep 4dr either but the one 4dr Bronco I saw (can't find the pic) was the only route I'll go for a Bronco soft top. For me I hate waste, especially nowadays. I'll be damned if I'm going to buy the current 4dr soft top if I hate it and will only be using it until I can get a hardtop or a decent soft top. With all of them out there you will be lucky to get 50 cents on the dollar to sell a near new used one.

Is Webasto making the soft tops also? Explains the quality of that fugly mess,

You might be able to sell it to a FE owner that has a bad hardtop. Just throwing that out there

I won't go softie...yet, I do want a fabric top that covers the area when the front two panels are removed (2-door)...but I don't want to shell out in excess of $1K for that Ford accessory...need @Broncadonk MKG to sew me some leather. ;)

Ha! I haven’t been able to get measurements of a bronco yet, but depending on the type of leather and hardware required, $1000 would be pushing it!

I want a fastback top sooo bad, and I still think a Bimini canvas out of the correct type of leather would look gorgeous if done correctly! Plus it would stand up to the elements 10x longer than any nylon would.

I have plenty of cowhides, but hair-on-hide wouldn't stand up to the elements like leathers tanned for rough service. Perhaps a Carhartt, Filson or other cotton duck canvas with leather accents would look and work good too?

I would absolutely consider ordering this top if it was an option instead of the hard top for 2 door Broncos.

Ohh that would be fantastic.

When I made my retractable rooftop tent (it’s like the retractable awning just in collapsible tent form) I bought a few yards of decent waterproof canvas fabric on Amazon. Not as tough/ long lasting as Carhartt at all, but it was worth the price I paid for it. Sewed well on the machine, and would stitch well to leather trimming also. When I’m back home from my time in Arizona, in October, I’ll buy some more and make a test piece for my bronco to see how it stands up over time.
