We replaced our 4” speakers in the 2021 Bronco a couple videos ago. During which time we temperately installed them with connections that were going to be changed out later. While at the time of our speaker replacement there were no factory speaker adapters available, we did get a viewer who contacted us with a video that showed the part numbers of the components to make your own. Yes there is a lot of speculation on ones that “should” fit (notice I said should), but no one showing it will work. Today is the day we show the proof of what will fit and work.

This is a “some assembly required” but don’t worry it is easy as can be. While I already completed the driver’s side, Jill will be installing the passenger side connections. She will show the construction of the plugs and the installation of the speaker back into the Bronco.

We chose this route because we didn’t want to splice into the factory harness for a couple of reasons. First, they don’t give you much room for error in the tight space they give you. Second, if we ever want to remove the speakers, we can unclip them from there rather than the speaker itself. Removing the connectors from the speaker itself can put unwanted stress on the connection point of the speaker.
