Would you believe me if I told you we didn't even get off the WILD HORSES lot before we had our first breakdown? If you've been watching the channel any length of time then you probably wouldn't be surprised but for those who are new, let me fill you in. For us, bad luck is a pretty normal experience. However, even with how true that last statement is, we were not expecting this much bad luck to befall us on our way to the Rubicon trail. Buckle up as the drama unfolds and stay tuned for Part 2!

Just got off the Rubicon a week ago, driving a 1972 FJ40. Saw two early Broncos come though, both dedicated NorCal Rubicon-built trucks. Always fun to see out there.

Call us late bloomers but at 18 and 22, Zach and I finally decided to take on the second part of the Rubicon trail with no parental supervision. And like you, we started thinking...It's about freakin time! Check out all the drama unfold on Day 2 of the Rubicon, and stick around to see if Zach and I make it through the trail unscathed!

Poor @mitchcreel, if wasn't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all.

Glad to see you take it all in-stride and just keep having a good time. It is all part of the fun. And think of the stories. if you didn't have this on video no one would believe it.

Hey @mitchcreel Can't wait to see your adventures in the 2021 Bronco. I suspect that is when your luck turns!
P.S. Congrats on your new arrangement with 4WP. That is a great organization and I see good things happening in your future!

I had the same thing happen to my 1975 Mustang that 302 water pump broke and the fan ripped through two cores of my 4 core radiator. I was messing with my cousin in his 4 cylinder 1987 Mustang, when it blew.

@mitchcreel Your videos are the best.
Your new 2021 Bronco has the potential to be very different from the Pitbull! Are you ready for the transition?
I can see it now.
Jack in Bronco? Check!
Spare tire on tailgate? Check!
All wheels bead locked? Check!
GMRS radio on bring your own device rail? Check!
Less carnage = More time to chow down on Goldfish crackers? Check!
Jim will be impressed!

Mitch, great job on the trail. It is always fun to watch your adventures. Great that you can have a career that is truly a blast day in and day out.

I also loved you naming your brother's Bronco Gandalf. Maybe when he pushed back on the name the rig stayed true to his new name and said, "You shall not pass" the parking lot to go to the Rubicon.

hahaha His Bronco used to be a matte gray primer before he rattle canned it. We thought the name was fitting at the time and it's just kinda stuck...with us at least:LOL:

Now that the name has been memorialized on public video and discussed on the Bronco Nation forum it looks to be official now. I think it is a great name. After all, they were always on a trail and it was great having a wizard with them. How can you go wrong?

That looked fun! I don't think I'll be attempting the rubicon. I'd hate to scratch up my Bronco
