This is a bit of clickbait, but I have a serious question. I have done research, and called a couple of local dealerships but I haven't got a clear answer. I need Ford help from Ford folks.An answer from @Ford Motor Company would be the absolute best. This is my daily driver...
But I am looking at buying a 22 Explorer to putt around town so I don't put a ton of miles on the Bronco.
I know that the Explorer has a serious recall with the rear axle.(family member owns a RWD '21 Limited and the emergency brake fix is annoying.)
Does the recall affect the '22 Timberline or other trims with 4WD? Is the Timberline AWD? Is it RWD with 4WD? How can this be that confusing?
I would just like to buy a new Explorer that doesn't have this issue.
