Production dates vs delivery dates snafu?

I'm currently trying to find out information, if customers service couldn't help shed light idk what else to do. Maybe we all should be sending tweets out to ford motor company.

Blend date of 1/18 and dealer confirmed it was built as did the module check. Estimated delivery of 2/15 and now this morning tracking says estimated delivery of 5/16.

2-door, Big Bend, 2.3L manual with tow so the delay is not limited to 2.7L like many have speculated. I was a day 2 reservation, day one order pushed to 2022, re-ordered 10/19. I'm hoping with all my heart that it's just a computer glitch somewhere because it pains me to think that "my" Bronco is built and will be sitting for four months on a lot somewhere. If that's the case, I'm hoping my patience holds out. It was a lot easier before "my" Bronco was produced because I consoled myself with the longer the wait, the more refined the production process. Now that it's built, that's a moot point.

My exact feelings.
I asked the cust service rep if there was a glitch or anything and she could see no reason why. If there are a lot of these then we need to know what's up.

I checked the tracker today and was shocked!
My build week was 1/17.
Received sticker 1/18.
Blend 1/21.
Then it showed in production 1/25.
Est. Delivery 2/16.
About this time my salesman emailed and said delivery 2/10-2/16.
For several days nothing changed.
Then this morning the tracker changed to 5/17.
Called customer service and they could not find any reason or holds why the date changed. This vehicle better be built by hand like a supercar if it takes 4 months to build.
Does anyone have any info or similar details?

If you have window sticker it's most likely built., but possibly waiting on a module in the holding yard.

My modules are live.
But would it really take 3 more months to ship?

This is becoming widely reported. Seem less likely to just be a glitch in the tracker and more likely vehicles being held up for some reason, whether chips, airbags, other issue that have been identified, but not yet released...... A glitch in the tracker would be I assume be way way more preferred than dirt/ice mountain II. Let the saga begin.......

I’m a July 2020 reservation holder 10280746 ... Feb 2021 order/downpayment, completed the reorder (had to get new color) in Oct 2021 and still have no visibility to my build.
I called the Bronco customer support number today (first time ever...) ... all they know if the order is in the system.

I’ll be too old to drive by the time I get my 2 door black diamond. I know about the delays and reasons, but they have held my deposit money for a year now and I’m still driving a car I want to get rid of.

We were told by our dealer they pulled ours off the line because of a chip problem. Ford is waiting on chips. Original order7-2020. We have vin, ws, blend date, and delivery date of 2/8. Doubt the delivery date will stick.

There are 12/6 build week folks who are getting delivery dates for May as well...

Makes you wonder if Ford isn’t paying the bills to the rail carriers .
Broncos sitting on rail cars not moving according to several others here.
Obviously it’s all guess work for everyone.
Could be chips as well.
Maybe needed the chips for the Raptor.
Lack of truck drivers
Rail yard staff.
The list can go on and on.
We do know conjecture seems fine with the marketing department.

3rd row over 27th back...
It is now at a place called Ice Mountain, similar to Dirt Moutain but in the winter now.
The video I saw looks like there are a few hundred to maybe over a thousand.

They did the same thing last year with hard tops. Are these mostly soft top vehicles, since we've seen post(s) of soft top issues?

Took a look at video again and yes almost all Soft Tops some 2 door but very few and of course 2 door are the hard tops.....

Bugger! My build is very similar to yours. Was a Day 2 rest that I converted to an order Nov 2/21. Blend date was Jan 21st. In Production Jan 25th. Up until yesterday, Order Tracker has been saying end of February for delivery. Your post spooked me so I checked. Yep, today is saying end of May estimated delivery. Booo....!
