Did anyone else get a pre-paid Visa card in the mail with their name and the Dealer name on it?
I did and I don't know why. No letter with it, just a card and activation instructions. There is one line that says "Thank you for your Bronco Reservation with Brandon Ford."

Sounds way better than the unanswered email I got from my dealer today.. And yesterday.. And last month.. And last year :rolleyes:

I did and so did a few other new Bronco owners that ordered from the same dealership. No one has shared the amount on the card.

I emailed the dealer - Brandon Ford in Brandon, FL. I have been quite mad at these guys from the beginning and emailed the owner, sales manager, Bronco Sales Team and my salesman several times to let them know how irritating the silence is. I did get replies to those messages saying they know it's a long process, etc., etc., but silence otherwise.

They responded to my inquiry today, and the card did come from them. It's Ford's Customer Satisfaction Funds. They also said nothing had changed with my order, and the build date was still 3/28 and included my VIN. - This was news to me!

Apparently, it was scheduled on 1/20. I did not get notification for Ford or the dealer that I was scheduled or that I had a VIN. My order still says "contact dealer" as it has since I placed the order. I check every Friday morning for an email from Ford or Brandon Ford and I check the order status on Ford.com.

So, while I am excited by the fact I have a build date (and some bonus cash!), it's overshadowed by the fact I have not had any communication from the manufacturer or the dealer. My concern is that I won't get any future communications.

I look forward to getting my truck and hope this will all be over soon.
