The La Quinta at Marble Falls was good. You can get a balcony with a view over the river/lake and there is a Starbucks just up the hill to snag some caffeine and breakfast before heading down to the Rodeo.

I believe the Horseshoe Bay resort offers a shuttle to the Off Rodeo site. How about if you stay at the La Quinta or Hampton in Marble Falls? How do you get to the site from there?

There is a small parking lot at the off rodeo site from Marble Falls you just go south on Hwy 281 to Hwy 87 then west on 87 to the site. The whole trip should be about 15-20 minutes.
I am not sure about the off roadeo site and parking. The rest of the roads are paved. Even if the site was not paved, t would be manageable in most cars. I would not take a super/hyper car there but anything else should make it. I live down a vey rough Hillcountry road and I have not had any problems with Mustangs, Malibu, or a Camaro.
I have yet to go to the off rodeo. I just know the area pretty well. It is just over an hour from my house.
