This is the one being auctioned. All the FEs say 1 of 7000. The one going to Barrett Jackson is lightning blue.

I'm really going to like the wireless Android Auto that comes with Sync 4. I've never had any luck with the voice command working as advertised on any of the previous versions of Sync. Hopefully Sync 4 is better.
Anyone use the voice command feature a lot?

On my F150 the voice command works ok. There are times it doesn't understand. I don't use it a lot but it's nice to have.

I've tried to use it on the Navigation and there are just so many prompts and then sometimes it just doesn't understand what I'm saying. It's so much easier to use Waze on my phone because I can already have my destination plugged into it. Does anyone know if you could possibly do that on the Ford App so the navigation would be ready to go when you hop in?

OK, a question for those that use Sync4 (or maybe 3 IDK) with an iPhone what apps from your phone are available? Can I get my weather maps on the 12" screen or its limited to certain ones only?

Generally, it has to do with whether an app developer has done the work to creat a CarPlay version of the app.

I use sync 3 and use iPhone and so far, I haven't seen anything that would do what you wanted to do. I don't think any app dev will since you're talking about going thru Carplay and/or knowing sync. I can only hope they will, but doubt it.

I have sync 3 but it updated to a sort of sync 4..a lot of the sync 4 features are now on my syn 3 system and it looks and functions like the sync 4...really nice and way better look to it. I use the app link. When I first got my f150 in 2020, "accuweather" had a great app that was in the app link catalog. It was great. Then it disappeared. I called both Ford app link tech dept and the app developer. Apparently it is no longer compatible. There are no other apps in the catalog for weather that I can see. I just use the Travel link that is w Sirius, it works pretty well. There are currently 19 apps in the Iphone catalog. Mostly music (pandora, Ford+alexa, Iheart radio) some podcast ones, waze (which is great) you can see them if you download the Fordpass app click on the three dots and then app catalog. There are some apps from my phone of course that "transfer" when I connect my phone to use apple car play too.

I guess from a forum I found Ford will not allow any interactive apps like true weather apps with radars as it can be a distraction. Guess I am back to getting a laptop mount and will run my radar apps off that for chasing dang it. Figured that would have been pretty cool to have it there
