Just another issue at delivery. No onboard door storage bags when FORD BRONCO Technical SPECIFICATION EQUIPMENT PAGE 3, SUBSECTION BODY: LINE THREE says in four door column " rear door on board storage bags are optional" . two door and front two four door of four doors are standard equipment"
No so , on 4/15/22 , my 22 Big Red was hot off the car carrier ,just from a two week stay at the NEWARK PORT SEAPORT HILTON PARKING LOT RESORT, BIRD DROPPING and all. So my salesman calls at 9am. Great news right?
So at 3pm go to dealer and a southern gentlemen greets me. Bid Red is here, lets look at it. Well I go to the rear fifth door( tailgate) and open up to see if all goodies inside. But what all thosr paintednover ribets??? Bags for front mats, antenna , licensr plates, one or two more bags, but salesman yells " Frank come hear" and a second time " come hear"
What he was showing me was a SSM issue on cars built Feb-March 20 has the left drivers exterior gab rail ( tie down) was rusted bolts. Bummer but rust matches the hot pepper taco red something!
Then back to showroom and have trade appraised $10k ok then to business manager, who did save me $20 a month on loan payments, but tried to sell a $1600 two year extension of bumper to bumper. Its BUILD WILD BRONVO, everything come off! Ok time to check new purchase order. Deposit applied=✓ No price protection BUMMER." FORD MARKETING ", the salesman said will send you a $250.00 check. Bummer.
The next Tuesday at 1 pm prep done. "Big Red " best looking day, no dirt!
Asked for front license plate bracket to be installed. NADA! Bracket not in cargo? Someone goes to shop and says mechanic thought going to Florida so you dont need it. Bag open. Then someone tries to snap bracket over braking front sensor. NADA! NO NO!
Get home two hours late since business manager had to redo loan agreement by $1600.00 extended warrantee he through in. Still no price protection. Get home no door Onboard storage bags! Bummer. Call GM he try Ford accessories but that is not to be used "ONBOARD " different heavy duty bags.
Today tried to get part number for harness (OM Page 360) and heavy duty ONBOARD storage bags just for front two doots. There are not any! Bummer. Ford Parts checks all sources "esourcebook" NADA says call dealers parts.NADA.Z They dont exist! BUMMER!
30 days latter, 40 calls and Customer service supervisor, if you can find one, says have your dealer write up missing and send to factory.
Then GM replies in email, today. 0n 4/1/22, he says" Bronco ( internal) ,4/1/22 Ordering Guide deletes three dealer installed ONBOARD door storage item" but later says " 87E option". Had ordered MIC so two ONBOARD roof bags included. Never on B&P options a five page printout from dealer. This was original 2021 cancelled to 22 MIC issue. MY22 built date 3/5/22 per email!
Well check everything and here attached is a Bronco Technical Specification List ..On page three under third subsection BODY , third item Storage bags two and front doors of four door bags standard and rear four doors optional. READ READ ONBOARD DOOR BAGS should have been standard not optional Only rear two on four doors option 87E !!!
I emailed FORD legal for a remedy in Ford's Screwedup BRONCO MARKETING, which is nothing by some women working from home with babies and dogs in background, they are glorified order processing clerk and most likely went off road!
I think the 2022 BRONCOS DELIVERED JUST GOT SAND BAGGED
Dont get confused with Ford Accessories GARAGE DOOR BAGS they are not heavy duty, just dust protection. NO TO BE USED ONVEHICLE STOTAGE
