I spoke with Ford Customer Service line today about the need to reorder MY22 Bronco for 2023. He told me Ford is committed to completing all orders without carrying orders over to 23! Hmm....

Yes, this was their official position when they closed the order banks in March. I believe they can get them all through the assembly plant but getting them 100% finished (all chips and parts) and shipped will be the bigger challenge.

Plus, I think they would have to forgo the allocation system for that to happen !

They’re not retooling the line for 2023 models. They would normally be happening now during shutdown. With that in mind, it’s highly possible they can deliver on their promise only because they’re not promising when the customers will get the 2022 models.

They are scheduling over 16,000 for August. Of course since we don't know the number of orders, the build number doesn't really help give a good perspective.

Wow, that's a very bold statement. I get all giddy hearing those words, then think.........I just can't believe they can get all the 22MY's out before the end of the calendar year. Once again I'm getting visions of "Gung Ho", and Michael Keaton.

I'd rather get a non rushed 23 MY than a hurried, and rushed 22MY.

Even if they could build 20k per month, they still wouldn’t make it through existing orders by the end of the year or, more likely, the mid-November 23 switchover.

That being said, I do hope mine is a 2022. I do NOT like the squared off fenders on the 2023 sneak peek.

I believe that will be for the Heritage Edition only. The other trims will have the same fenders and flares.
