I'm trying to get a "Marti Report" on my 1966 bronco. Marti says the information is not available. Does anyone know why this is so?

Marti reports are only available from 1967 on. Sometime in the early 80’s a department within Ford had been purging records. Unfortunately the 1966 files were destroyed before someone realized the records had significant value.

One of the frustrating yet cool things about owning a 66' lol. I've seen quite a few mistakes on Marti's over the years now, still very helpful though.
I’ll have a look in my records. When I pulled my '66 out from under a tree, I had to write a letter to Ford and they wrote back with my build info. Nothing fancy, but still kind of cool. I’ll see what department I wrote to. It was about 12 years ago.

I believe someone did the same years ago and when we inquired about it Ford said that was no longer available and Marti was taking care of all requests in that area.
