MAP Shutdown 7/4 - 7/24

MAP(assembly line) will be shutdown for 3 weeks. Week of 7/4, 7/11, and 7/18.

If I was a betting man, I would bet there will be people working on the broncos that have already been built and are sitting on storage lots waiting on parts.

Hopefully those of you with your bronco on a storage lot waiting parts, will get it during or after this shutdown.

Heard the same from my source. Backlogged Broncos as well as retooling/training for the new 2023 Ranger which is supposed to start production May next year.

Now that I think about it… not sure why they are re-tooling so early if production isn’t supposed to start until mid-2023. But maybe it’s so they can start running test builds down the line in preparation for next year.

I hope you are correct!!! My vehicle has been sitting since January (chip hold)! I really bothers me to read people getting their vehicles built after mine and delivered, but I am happy for them just not happy with the process. But I wont hold my breath thinking mine will get here any time soon.

Great news for everyone on Dirt, Mud, Snow, Ice, or whatever the "F" Mountain! It's about time! So glad I'm not one of them! And hoping my 6/16 blend doesn't replace one of them. :unsure:

Freaking 879 out of 884 for the 6/16 cycle, not feeling too good about that figuring its night shift only next week doing the builds and are the end of the week.

At least 6/16 blends only have 884 to build. I saw 6/17 has 1915. What's your rotation number? 6000's or higher? I'm 617/884, rotation 4387.

What does the rotation number mean? I understand the blend date and the number per build cycle, but not the rotation number. Thanks for your help!

Rotation numbers run from 0001 to 9999 and reset to 0001 after 9999. Supposedly the rotation number is the main number the assembly Teams are paying attention to? Rotation numbers can span across shifts and days.

The rotation number goes all the way up to 9999 and cycles back around. It is used to sequence vehicles on the assembly line and is the number used by those on the line to identify what truck gets what parts.
I.e in the example above in his group they have scheduled 884 vehicles (including trucks) and his build sequence is 617 of that number.

Nope only running day shift this week and then night week next. No parts to run more shifts again.

Wow, then I agree. They won't get 1900+ done on 6/17 with only one shift.

I'd like to know what a true per shift number is if they can run the shift at 100%, think it was posted early last year but that's a long time ago LOL

Ross, @PREMiERdrum, a family member, or good friend of a MAP Employee? Posted on 6G last July 30th. That the total number per shift was 550. Ross provided some good inside information on 6G. Unfortunately, Ross hasn't been seen on 6G since 12/16/21. :unsure:

That really sucks, I would imagine it being very frustrating, knowing yours is done but sitting. Very sorry, and I hope you get some good news real soon!
