I am leaning towards a 2022 Wildtrak 2dr with the avalibality of a white modular roof and maybe due to 2nd year some bugs worked out. Will have all the information from my Bronco peeps who have gone before me. I have plenty to get me around till then so I think Im going to pull the trigger on this as soon as the first delivery info comes out and the reactions.

From what I understand we the reservation holders can keep our docket so can still order "my build" won't have to get what sitting on the dealership showroom floors. Now that I think about might actually be able to negotiate price in year 2 maybe not if using my reservation ...hmmm

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I have not seen or heard any info that you can stall your reservation for a 2022 model. Seems like you might be able to take options that are late availability which might push your 2021 model not being delivered until 2022, but it’s still a 2021 model year. I was looking into the same thing after seeing the interior of the wildtrak, but now leaning towards badlands anyway.

Not sure on that but from what I have heard the black modular top will not be available till late 2021, I have heard the white modular top will be offered in the 2022. If its tactilely or budgetary the best way to go is a 2022 I can wait. This will be the first brand new vehicle I will have ever bought so Im ok with waiting to get it as close to what I want. A babble white top wild track....

Any reservation with a time stamp after September 18th is a 2022 by default. Ford announced this a couple weeks back.

The email from Ford I received a week or so ago indicated that for "FE and Wildtrak" reservation holders, you could choose to take a late delivery if you wanted to stay with the painted black tops otherwise you'd get a $1900 credit and take delivery on schedule with a MIC top.

Personly, the MIC top for a FE is like a kick in the nuts to me! Spend $60k for a low spec top thats likely to sunburn and peel in sunlight before the final payments in.....NOPE! I'll take a late delivery or wait till 2022 Ford.....BOOOOO!!!!!

Its up to each dealer, but on my Wife's Kia Telluride she ordered in 2019 they converted all cars not received to 2021 models in July. Been like 1.5 years waiting for it, supposed to come in Nov. They ran out of the headliner material and a few other things then factory shut down for COVID.

On the bronco I keep hearing people say they will just go to dealer, test drive one (that will be 2023 at least) and buy one for invoice on spot. Good luck with that. Ones in Dealer will probably have 10-30k markups until 2023 or 2024. probably more in CA.

I agree...this wishful thinking logic cracks me up. Look at Gladiator, Civic Type R, Ford Focus RS...lots of markup for quite a while after launch and not near as much excitement as we are seeing with Bronco.

Yeap, Raptor still has markup (about 20K in bay area) and it intro'd in 2010.

I have read on here somewhere there are some dealerships whom if u make your reservation through them they are selling the Broncos at MSRP. Ill have my own financing, I believe there were some dealerships in Texas

That’s only if everyone prior to the date converts their reservation to an order. Those that places an earlier reservation and back out might open spots for those after September 18.

Really, how many have you gotten from Dealers? My own dealer has my reservation has not of yet given a price point to MSRP for the vehicle or any accessories that are dealer add-ons/installs. Could you give me the name of a dealer at or below MSRP?

I live in KC, on the Kansas side. I contacted all dealers within 30 minutes of me on the Kansas side (there are 6 or so). Four of them said MSRP, one said $250 below MSRP, and one said $50 over invoice.

also the $50.00 over invoice
My other fear is yes they will give u a great price point to MSRP but then how much will the parts department sell the accessories that are dealer install i.e. the drop down tray on the inside of the tail gate
