How to find the build number of the first edition?

Hey has anyone figured out how to tell what build number their first edition is? I know some manufactures "first edition" trims will have a sticker or decal somewhere stating the build number. For example Bronco Sport First Edition number 100 of 2000.

The Bronco that sold at Barrett Jackson auction is supposed to be 001. Maybe start counting from there. Just my guess

I just bought a Bronco Sport First Edition and can't find anything related to it being one of the 2000 Ford said it built. I'm beginning to think there are more than just 2000 built.

The sport wasn't really marketed as the Bronco FE is and they have shown the FE badge on the center console for the Bronco. Now only will production tell if that is true.

They all do technically in the VIN but the FE will supposedly (without constraint issues LOL) have a special badge with XX of 7000

What section of the VIN does the build number show, towards the end?

5-7 of the Vin identifies the First Edition as E5E for the 4D and E5F as the 2D. vin #s 12-17 are sequential for builds although I haven’t figured out the exact order. I think if it is A61001 it means it is #1001 built in June and I don’t know what the A is. Will be fun to figure it out!

i am not sure that is correct. My vin ends in 0104 and I am in the build week of 7/28. 2-door FE.

There was a post awhile ago on how manufacturers build the VIN and each position tells a ceratin part of the build.

So basically a Badlands could be build 001 and the FE can also be a 001 build being that they are not the same models. So in reality that FE that sold for a million could really be the 10,000th Bronco off the production line but it is the first FE
