On your reservation page scroll down the page to cancel reservation.

Log in with the email/username you used to create the reservation, then go to 'My Account>Reservations and Orders'. There you should see your reservation(s) listed, and a link to cancel (might have to click on 'View Details' first). If that doesn't work, I would call the customer service number (same one listed in FAQs and used for transfers). After canceling, you'll get a $100 credit sent back to the card that you used to reserve, but it will come from the dealer, not from Ford. Might take a couple weeks.

Some people reserved two to keep their options open while they decided which dealer and/or model to go with. I canceled my original reservation in order to get a better deal with a new Oct reservation.

You didn't need to cancel the reservation for that. You just lost your spot. You were able to switch dealers with the same time stamp.

You are correct. I could have switched without canceling, but my dealer was offering an extra incentive for those willing to move to the back of the line by making a completely new reservation in October. Since I don't mind waiting it worked out great for me.

Actually not true anymore. I tried to switch dealers with Ford & they told me we cannot do it unless we cancel the reservation & make a new one with the new dealer.

My theory (theories):
Reservation stamp still carries considerable weight.
Ford/Webasto is making primarily only 2 door and/or FE tops for obvious reasons . Any additional capacity will go to normal production.
Dealers have posted that soft tops are being pulled from DEEP in their order list.

I'm half tempted to convert my Grangetober 31st res into a BIG BEND soft top just to see what happens. But that plays against my long game.
