Hello everyone, so all of a sudden my Bronco started leaking coolant from a metal cap on the engine block. The metal cap is located above the oil pan, right next to the base of the oil dipstick. The metal cap looks like its indented into the body and appears not to have any threads of any sort to come out. Not sure, how to fix it or what the name of the cap is, or how to approach this issue. Any ideas would greatly help. Thank you!

Old Bronco , likely corrosion/rust has compromised the seal.

New Bronco, likely not in fully flat or damaged during installation.

Of course the dipstick and exhaust pipe is in the way of replacing it. Murphy's Law is victorious again!

Make sure it comes out, if it ends up in water jacket, get it out. Freeze plugs leaning against cylinders create hot spots and can lead to cracked cylinders.
