Estimated Delivery Pushed Back 3 months

Anyone else have their estimated delivery pushed back by 3 months today? I was a 1/17 build week, went in to production 1/25, and had estimated delivery of 2/21. Then today the estimated delivery changed to 5/22. Anyone have any info?

Was pushed to April 6. Produced on 12/14. Waiting for a chip since then apparently. 2021 wildtrak with lux and yow package and a few other bells and whistles.

Yes….you are not alone. Estimated delivery date went from 2/13 to 5/13. Over on 6g there is an “Ice Mountain” tracking sheet with a couple hundred or more people effected by the delay. It appears to be a microchip shortage, however Ford has been mum on the issue.

Well, our BL hasn't been pushed back yet but expect it. It has been sitting in a lot in Miami Train hub for the last 35+ days waiting for a spot to get transported to the dealership.

Our BD has been pushed back to 4/1/22 was built in 12/6/21.... at least your 2022 will be delivered in 2022.... :confused:

same story for me In production 12/15 new EDD 3/28

Spoke to Ford and my dealer. The dealer is showing it to be a chip hold and Ford confirmed that.

They are being held for the new Braptor customers.... sorry.... lol. Just like they help up everyone's Bronco for the FE customers, even though people reserved theirs before the FE ones did.

It has been fun. Ford told me last week it was a chip issue, but a person can be hopeful. At that point, there was a lot of speculation about that as an issue.

I was told that you wouldn’t get a VIN or build date until Ford had everything on hand in order to complete your specific build. So, evidently the chips are not something that they need to physically have on hand in order to start/complete the build?! SMH.

I’m getting a feeling I’m gonna be with the ice mountain crowd as well. Been stuck on “in production” for a week now.

What I heard wasn't that they didn't have the chips, it was that they got a big batch of BAD chips. So they parked the ones they built from those until they can get replacements, which takes a while. But, hey, the rumors are flying fast and furious, and Ford isn't saying anything except "chip hold", and THAT is only to the dealers.

Yeah, I’m out. I told the Salesman to refund my deposit. I’m done with Ford.

My wife just told me that her company has had to readjust all of their current February orders/deliveries “in & out” to April.as of today.
