After installing a rebuilt E4OD in my 94 Bronco it would take off in high gear, limp mode. After researching and looking, I found the harness to the solenoid pack to have bare wires for almost 2 inches up the harness. I replaced the harness being very careful to connect the correct wires and added heat shrink to the connections. Now it takes off in first gear but does not shift up only stays in low gear I have read that the VSS could possibly be the cause any help?
