According to Detroit Free Press, dealers may be able to get $1000 to assist with the Customer Satisfaction Program. Is there more Swag coming our way?

Thanks for sharing. I sent this to my sales guy and asked him if this is for real. Can’t wait to see his reply and more importantly, if it is, what he is gonna do for me...

I thought it was $1,000 per customer

EDIT: The article states, "Dealers are able to spend up to $1,000 per customer..."

I was just replying to the way the OPs message was worded , I didn't read the article , LOL .
If the money is sent directly to the dealer and they get to decide how to spend it , I wouldn't hold my breath . Most of us will probably end up with a $25 tee shirt and the dealer keeps the rest . Hopefully Ford has set some rules that require a certain amount to be spent on the customer .

oh I get it. np

But trust me, Ford isn't dumb. They know this is the information age & whatever the dealers do with the money, it will become public knowledge. Ford has ways to monitor and control their dealers. Their not going to let them just steal the money.

$1,000 per reservation order is over $100,000,000. Would you keep eyes on that much money if it were yours?

I'd take $990 off sticker and a plaque that says "We were gonna give you a $1k discount, but we wasted 10 bucks on this plaque!"

The key statement in this whole memo is under the program overview section. “Funds are allocated based on the number of reservations converted to orders and ready for scheduling” (not on a priority 99 code) the amounts each dealership gets will be where the shenanigans can happen. Who gets what, from what dealership

from what I understand - dealers will not necessarily be given authority to spend $1000 per order holder.. one dealer in another discussion on another site mentioned they're getting latitude to spend $4500.00 on this program - but they have over 100 orders.. .but in theory - they CAN spend up to $1000 per order holder - but it would mean others might only get $10 worth of stuff.. it's up to the dealer to decide who they want to spend more money on - based on wait time, frustrations, etc - so don't get your hopes up that each of us will get $1000 worth of swag. some of us might just get an air freshener, while others (who MIGHT be good friends with a dealer, or one of those "VIP" orders) could end up with a case of nice whisky

I wonder if after these "Customer Satisfaction Funds" are dispersed, Ford then reaches out to us (the customers) to see how a dealer treated customers during the wait? This could be money well spend by Ford to really see how their dealers perform, and then 'thin the herd' if the dealer(s) doesn't help out (inform, assist, et cetera) , the reservation and order holders. Help Ford see this process from our eyes.

"Not on a 99 priority code."

A lot of people in the BN have stated that is what they are.

But those will convert. That is why it stood out to me. If the 99 priority codes are converting anyways, why put the wording in the memo?

What I read is that the money is meant to pacify people who complain.
