I have a 1994 Bronco with check engine light turning on and off now for weeks, I read the code and it is 216 - Keep Engine Alive Module or KAM. However the Haynes/Chilton books do not indicate what that module is...I am guessing that it has something to do with the PCM but I just can't seem to isolate the problem....anyone else seen this?

Oooo good luck with this one.

Easiest way to diagnose this is to just replace the PCM and see if the issue reappears. If it does—one or more of the sensors in the vehicle are bad. If not, then obviously it was the KAM itself.
