Are those covers for the defroster wire connections?

If it is what I think it is, yes. It looks like something that guards the rear window defroster wiring, especially from items that may rub against it in your cargo area. Based on what I’ve read on forums (sans specific examples), your money was well-spent. Where’d you get them?

It’s worth it if it gives you some peace of mind. I always chalk up this type of question to “Have I spent MORE on something I knew would have no lasting value?” If you answer “yes,” then don’t worry about it.

Is this worth $30 to you? I think it's worth it.

Do all the Broncos come from the factory with those red rectangles on the rear glass now or is it trim specific ? Personally I find it distracting . I hope it is not visible from the outside or it will clash with my paint choice .

Worth $20? Probably. Would it be the first $20 I spend? No. It would be near the bottom of the list with pinch weld covers, engine cover, etc. The factory look just doesn’t bother me enough.
