Get a competent welder to hang a stinger on it. See that it can spin around as a seat later so you can put your gear on in the parking lot.

That's a great idea. They would be pretty light weight even after putting on the bottom seats. The only thing I wonder is how much garbage would be sprayed on it by the time you get to your destination. I guess you could put some kind of cover on it.
In the summer you could convert it into a 2 holer port-a-john when outlanding. :LOL:

So, a thought...
I went with the lower non-Sasquatch BD so my roof line will stay ,just that much lower. in order to access top mounted roof rack a fraction easier.
Last Dec I went to Keystone and a few Jeep’s were running with vertical racks on the rear hitch stinger.
I don’t know where they kept their spare.

A-Do you think the MIC Top would support the weight of a full size spare ?

B-Would it be beneficial to use & or modify the rear swing gate for vertical ski/board storage ?

C- 2 door model is what I’m purchasing, so rear internal storage probably isn’t an option for spare or skis either.

You go with yourself and 3 friends for a few days skiing and the crap people bring loads up pretty fast. We broke the power liftgate on my Escape trying to shove it shut with the vehicle almost bursting full of stuff for a 4 day trip to Canada. This is one of the biggest reasons that keep from considering a 2 door.

Yea, I did the WT 4dr just for that reason to have space if needed. Don't have all the rescue gear anymore but still carry a fair amount every day and plan on chasing storms in it so who knows might add up again LOL.
