Beaches in Alaska

Finally got to take our WT off asphalt this past weekend in and around Homer, Alaska. It did great in sand mode, had hard pack sand, soft and fluffy, and rocky terrain. It handled great.

Is that black sand on the beach? Any gold there? I know……long ways away from Nome.

Not black sand, just gray. No gold on the beaches in Homer that I am aware of!

No, but my husband knows people who do and they have gold claim leases. He had a buddy try and get him to come work his gold claim recently but my husband doesn't have the time. Maybe one day when he's older.

Beautiful country up there - take care of it. I hope one day to get up there and travel / camp / fish.
