Anyone Else Having Key Problems?

My 2021 Bronco Badlands 2 Door has been failing to recognize my key(s) on a regular basis over the last month or so ("No key detected" message). Using the remote start function instead would work to start it ... until yesterday, when that didn't work and I was locked out of using my own car (no power windows, alarm went off if I opened the door, etc.) I sat in a CVS parking lot, groceries melting, for over an hour before it suddenly agreed to star again.

I took it to my dealer, Dean Sellers Ford in Troy, MI, today, but the Service Department was absolutely no help... although a manager- that my great salesperson introduced me to- showed me that if you pull up the mat in the bottom of the center console storage bin, there is a depression that you can place your key in to get it closer to the receiver, which usually works. But who wants to have to do that to start their $60,000 4x4 all the time!?

The service tech claims that Ford has no information available on this problem. Am I the only unlucky Bronco owner to have this frustrating experience?

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

Is there a spot in the bottom of the center console to put the key fob in/on?

Yes, as mentioned above, there is a shallow depression in the console if the battery is dead that let's you start the car. BUt that's a ridiculous way to have to start a $60,000 4x4. Dealership and Ford seem to have finally found the problem- as of today-but they haven't shared it with me yet.
