Now it is time to get into some more details of our upcoming hardtop. Our hardtop specifics:

1. Roof rack compatible (See pictures for examples of both tops)
2. Wiper motor will be plug and play
3. Defroster will be plug and play
4. Washer fluid will be plug and play
5. Hinges are included
6. Rear struts are included
7. All glass is included
8. Sound deadening will be an option
9. Our hardtop will work with the OEM Hardtop Prep Kit.

Here are answers to some questions from last week:

1. What is the overall weight and weight capacity of the top?
   1. It is very similar to the OEM top weight.
2. What about 2 Door Tops?
   1. We are focusing 100% on 4 Door Broncos at this time. At this time, we do not plan on developing a 2 door top. HOWEVER, that can change if we get enough interest.
3. Will the White UV Textured match the OEM color?
   1. It will be a close match to Oxford White.
4. Will the Black UV textured match the OEM color?
   1. It will be a close match to Shadow Black.
5. Will we offer a “Hardtop Prep Kit” for those that did not get it from Ford?
   1. We are currently investigating developing our own hardtop prep kit.

I have a 2 door ordered .
I understand why you aren’t focusing on 2dr tops however,
I personally would be interested if you could develop a “one piece” light weight topper/skin that could set on topic rhe factory mic.
mabee microsphere construction.
I’d like to keep ice collection out of all of my panel seals.

I was just checking it out on B6G. Looks like it will be great. Well , until we find out the price. They are smart for getting in on this, they will make a killing!

The 2 door folks are not happy. That one confuses me. They already have a hard top. Why would you want two?

I'm sure ADV's target dermagraphic is 4 door soft top owners who originally wanted a hard top but switched to speed up their build. I was just really surprised at the number of 2 door owners who chimed in not happy that they were being left out. I would figure they would be more anxious to have soft top options over having a second hard top.

I have to agree they are likely just habitual complainers.
the only advantages for a 2dr hardtop by this manufacturer is the fiberglass which can be manipulated to paint or texture however whatever color chosen.
but honestly I have no complaints actually thrilled to se manufacturer’s jumping in .

And this is only the beginning. I'm sure in five years there will be many options. And competition will help keep the prices reasonable.

@Garemlin - I’m pretty sure the answer is yes, but is the same height/roofline as the factory top. So aftermarket racks like the Gobi Stealth should fit?

I would assume so. But you would have to contact them to confirm. I'm just the messenger.

That's wishful thinking. There hasn't even been a whisper of any other manufacturers working on hard tops right now. Doesn't mean there isn't. But if there are they would be smart to start teasing now instead of keeping it under wraps.
