Last week, Ford invited nearly 100 media outlets and freelance journalists to Texas to experience the 2021 Bronco. For many, it was their first chance to explore the all-new vehicle and its accessories in depth.
After two half-days of on- and off-road driving plus time with Ford managers, engineers, and designers, invitees left better equipped to share the 4x4’s story to their followers … while falling in love with the Bronco’s modularity, technology, and authenticity, too.
Tomorrow, these stories will begin breaking. We will be linking to them here as well as reposting key accounts and summaries.
Three Reasons to Read
In this community as well as others, there are members who have been following this vehicle since its announcement –– and even prior. Some of you could rattle off all its major stats and figures from memory. And plenty of you want nearly nothing more than to have your order (or details of when you will). Still, I would encourage you to check out as many of these articles and videos as possible, for three reasons.
The people: The Bronco is a treat unlike any other, but the acquaintances met and friendships formed because of it are treasures. Every person I’ve had the privilege of talking to because of this vehicle –– from classic owners at events, to media members at Drive Week, to Ford employees –– have been stellar human beings. This base is filled with interesting and informed people. Get to know some voices you may not have been following already.
The comparisons: As much as I want to see order holders inside Broncos (and we will, starting tomorrow at Off-Roadeo as well as through those beginning to take delivery of their vehicle), it’s great that media professionals got a crack at it too. These print, broadcast, and digital journalists come with some really cool experiences, having covered massive amounts of events, brands, and vehicles. Even at Drive Week, Ford had competitor units present. You’re going to see plenty of information on how the Bronco performs and functions in ways you may not have before.
The new information: I referenced above that some of you might be able to accurately list dozens of features of the Bronco without skipping a beat. But even so, there is plenty to be discovered. Just last week, I received images of an Easter egg that doesn't seem to have become common knowledge yet. I’m withholding that one so you all can have your own surprises, but from this event and the content created there, you may just learn an answer you’ve wanted to know or see your exact build in pictures or video.
We know you’re more than ready to take ownership of this amazing vehicle. I hope the content from the outlets below revamps your desire for the Bronco, helps you learn new things, and introduces you to some great people. It’s a hard wait, but it’s more than worth it.
