2nd annual end of the summer season trip to silver lake sand dunes

Event details

For this event you'll need orv stickers, park passport, and a safety flag, purchasable at silverback offroad. We'll spend a couple of days on the dunes with the possibility of a night run Friday on the tin cup trails in Luther MI...rear facing ambers will be required for the night ride. We'll be meeting at the entrance to the dunes 9-930am, 1765 N Lakeview Drive Mears Michigan 49436. Most of us will be staying at the dunes express inn hotel in hart Michigan 2248 N Comfort Dr, Hart, MI 49420.

They are amber or yellow lights on your vehicle that are rear facing, usually pointed slightly out or down as to not blind the vehicle behind you, that help the person behind you see your vehicle through dust and in less than perfect conditions so they don't hit you.

I would love to have come to this event but already have something planned for that weekend..
Although I understand how amber lights can help, I've never came across any group that required them. Interesting.

Safety first during a night run esp at higher speeds, since it will be mixed vehicles, raptors/trxs/broncos/jeeps, and most likely dusty trails. Maybe next year 👊🏻
MOE and Savage Offroad are two other groups that require them for night events.
