Sand Hollow State Park - Day Trip

Entry In to Sand Hollow State park will be optional, as there are routes in to the off road park without paying the entry fee!
The plan is to (attempt to) follow the Samsonite trail until just about to the sand dunes. I did the Samsonite trail for United by Bronco and enjoyed it so much that I'd like to explore this area a bit more. Unfortunately it is not in OnX maps yet, but it is really close to the first few miles of the Razzle Dazzle trail. In any case, It'll be a moderate (easier) run as I'm not really interested in body damage or needing to call Matt's Recovery to drag my Bronco out of the park.
With that said, there are plenty of optional lines on this part of the trail system and if your rig has at least 32 inch tires (or so) and preferably a rear locker, you'll have a good time. Expect obstacles in the moderate (4 to 6) scale.
We will meet up at River Rock Roasting Co, main location at 394 S State St, La Verkin, UT 84745 at 8 AM for morning brew (if you want). From there, we'll decide as a group if we'll pay the $15 entry fee into the park or just head straight to the free Sand Hollow staging area to air down.
I will do my best to keep this a family and pet-friendly day, with plenty of stops, photo op's, and of course, time to drool over each other's Bronco's, or whatever off road toy you decide to bring that day!
There is access to vault toilets in certain areas within the off road park.
If you have a radio, bring it. I use UHF (GMRS) radios, so we'll pick a channel as a group if you prefer to have group communication.
