Hi there,

If you go to News and not Forums there is a Reservation for King of Hammers. Hopefully you will find all you need there and can sign up for the Base Camp. Also, if you scroll down there are a couple of other articles that explain the event better and what to expect but first sign up with the reservations if you can.

Hopefully see you there @Hill Man

Are you new to camping? KOH is a huge event, with the center of activity on a dry lake bed. It really turns into a small city out there. Very dusty during the day, and gets cold at night! If you sleep in the bronco look into the deep sleep mat. Layer for the weather, and get a warm mummy bag. BN does a great job providing breakfast and dinner. Bring plenty of water with you. Fill up on gas in Lucerne before you get to the dry lake bed. Download Google Maps of the area for offline use. I can give you a lot of advice depending on your experience level. Let me know! It's a lot of fun!

Hi 805, new to camping in my bronco, I plan to set it up as noted. I want to join in on the novice activities, It seems I can purchase a camp site for $300 and get 2 tickets for all the events. I’ll be attending alone is that the best choice for me? Thanks

thats a cool set up! Biggest recommendation is to be prepared for the cold. The camping area is on an incline, there are probably some pretty flat areas though. Just something to consider in making your sleep spot level.
Thats the package I purchased, and would recommend. It's a good value especially if you bring a guest. King of the Hammers charges 75 a piece for the tickets and a camping fee, so all that is covered with the camp purchase through BN.

It's a lot of fun, and the Bronco group was super cool last year. See you out there!

Here's a cool view of what it's like out there:

I suppose my main interest is being able to join some of the rides. Last year was great, even if i was only able to go one day, to make it up to Bronco knoll for the first time.

Come by Bronco Basecamp if you'll be at KOH, and we will know capacity this week with certainty.

Same as Golfsky, I'd love to join for a trail ride if possible! I'll stop by Base Camp and see if there's any openings. I camp with friends so sadly couldn't join the base camp this time. Just need to talk him into getting rid of his Ram and getting a Bronco. Haha 🤣

Based on the weather I'm going to outfit the Bronco for sleeping and possibly avoid having to deal with tent camping in the rain. Be sure you arrive prepared for it.
