National Trails Day is June 3rd and what better way to celebrate than to support the building of one of Atlanta’s newest trail systems - the Woodall Rail Trail!
Join the Georgia Conservancy and the Upper Westside Community Improvement District on Saturday, June 3 for a morning volunteer service project on the Woodall Rail Trail in Atlanta’s Blandtown neighborhood, part of the Upper Westside Community.
Our Woodall Trail Service Project is made possible through the generous support of your Local Ford Dealer and Bronco Wild Fund, which promotes responsible recreation and the preservation of public lands.
Where: Woodall Creek Rail Trail // Meet in the parking lot of:
1510 Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard, Atlanta, GA
What to bring: Please bring a reusable water bottle, snacks, closed-toe shoes, pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and a sense of adventure. Gloves, tools, coffee, and snacks will be provided.
Volunteers will help to support the project by preparing the Woodall Rail Trail corridor for later construction of the paved walk/bike path and future plantings of native plants along Woodall Creek. Work will include the removal of invasive species such as English ivy and privet, as well as the clearing of trash, debris, and wooded brush.

After the project, join us right up the street at the neighborhood brewery, Steady Hand Beer Co., for an afternoon drink (or two) accompanied by food trucks, music, and an overlander vehicle show! The first beer is on the house!
Join us and our friends, Overland Imports, for our monthly off-road car show on Saturday 6/3 from 12-Close. We’ll have live music with Highbeams and food from Paul’s Poutine + Biscuits N Brunch.
