Jake Gertsch is the proud owner of 15 Broncos, a passionate member of the Bronco Community, and the founder of Montana Broncos. Jake started Montana Broncos to showcase his collection, but it quickly grew into a way for him to connect with Bronco owners and fans around the world. It has also been an opportunity for him to build special friendships.

Owning Broncos is an important part of life for Jake’s entire family. From working on restoring Broncos together to teaching his kids how to drive in them and taking them to go on fishing, hiking, and camping adventures, Broncos have been at the center of many special memories for all of them.

Whether you are a fan, an owner like Jake, or a future 2021 Ford Bronco owner, we want to know what makes the Bronco special to you! Let us know in the forums.

  1. Between my ex husband, my son and I, we’ve owned at least 6 Bronco’s. They are the best. I miss my last one, it was the prettiest. I used to get made fun of as a Realtor and be driving my old Bronco’s. People just didn’t understand the joy they bring you to drive them. I used to reply when your snowed in and need a ride give me a call. I hope to be the new owner of a new on in the next year or two.

  2. I was a designer with Ford Design in the 1970’s. My 1972 design proposals were selected and approved for the F-Series based Bronco first released in 1978. The wrapover roof band, wide “B” pillar and parallelogram roof windows became iconic Bronco design features through the end of production in 1996…

  3. I ordered my 1978 bronco in September of 1977. I still have it all original. My boy and myself go out and people comment about the bronco. Candy apple red with free wheeling package.

  4. My parents bought an 88’ Bronco new off the lot. As an 8 year old boy I remember riding through the Tetons and Jackson Hole in it. I loved every second off it. I remember wanted to get back in the car and keep driving every time my parents stopped at a viewpoint. Wish it was still in the family. Alas maybe I’ll live that dream again in 2021 with a new bronco. Thanks Jake for Bronco nation.

  5. My first new vehicle was a 79 Bronco. Black with chromematic stripe package. I added 15″ wide aluminum wheels with BF Goodrich All Terrains ,a Fisher Snow Plow and there was no stopping it.
