Turn signals on Outside Mirrors??

Are you referring to the side mirror spotlights on certain levels?

No, not the spotlights... actually turn signal/blinkers on the outside of the mirror casing.

Yes, but usually that's EXACTLY where turn signals are located on newer model vehicles. Especially based on the size, shape and location of it... if that is a spotlight, I'd questions the brightness & effectiveness. And IF they are calling a turn-signal a "side spot light"... UGH

I've a meeting with my dealerships, General Manager tomorrow morning to go over my built.... hopefully, I will get some insight into this.

Those are the spotlights based on other threads ( I forget if its on here or B6G) and the controls are down on the left with the other lights switches. I am pretty sure it's on B6G with all the interior phots posted end of last week or over the weekend. The buttons were commented what they are for.

Ummmmm... why I have two pages of questions for the dealership, General Manager tomorrow.

Are we sure it’s not a spot light when you hit the switch and a turn signal when you want it to be a turn signal? :unsure: Lol I’ll be kind of irritated if they put a spot light in where a turn signal should be and not made it a turn signal too since it would be easy to wire as a signal

They mystery lights in question are part of the High Package. You see them for instance on an OBX that has High or Lux package but do not see them on an OBX that only has mid package. It's the item labeled "Mirrors, Sideview - LED Approach Lamps and LED spotlight" on the build and price. You can see them toggle on and off on Build and Price if you switch between Mid and High Package.

As I read it each package you bump up includes the previous packages. The high package includes standard and mid packages plus a few extra high package goodies. And the Lux has it all and then some

So, this is a benign but curious issue for me...

So, some pics show turn signals on a certain model, but then the next pic of that same model, the turn signals are not pictured... I've went thru the Ford Order Guide dated 1/19/2021 (link attached) and see no reference to these??

It was demonstrated earlier on a BN Instagram live (now up on their IGTV). They are spotlights.

Seem like you could always add blinkers to the mirrors. I think the AM might have something in the future. Most likely it will be something that is added in MY22 or 23. I live in the country I will use spotlights way more than blinker lights. Like Getting the mail, looking for Amazon packages left at our gate, or lighting the way for the boys when they get one of the three gates we have to go through, and seeing deer on the side of our road.

So I'm the one who asked about the turn signals and the spotlights in the above insta video. He does show the spotlight on the mirror a few minutes into the video. There is a switch for them just left of the steering wheel. Later on they show a flood light on the bottom of the mirror.

A little after 14 min in they show the turn signals. Unfortunately the video pauses right there. When it starts up they have moved from the mirror or side of vehicle to show the back turn signals.

When you see the spotlight shown early on. You will see only half of that light strip on the mirror is used for the spotlight. I'm assuming the other half that didn't light up is for the turn signals. Seems odd that a new vehicle wouldn't have turn signals on the mirror.

Hopefully someone at BN can confirm the turn signal question.
