Can someone explain why the B&P won’t allow you to have any type of roof rack with the Sasquatch package?
It’s been stated in other threads. 2 door Sasquatch you can configure it, 4 door you can’t. It has to do with the gross vehicle weight. A 4 door Sasquatch loaded with the rails on top seems to push it to the limit or gives it the potential to go over the limit if the rack is then loaded up. You can buy the racks yourself after getting the bronco. You just cannot get it factory installed. They have not given specific numbers to this loading/ configuration issue and people are questioning warranty issues down the road if you install on your own. For me, I was between a 2dr and a 4dr wildtrak so I am going 2dr to be safe with loading. We like to ski so a rack on top is a must. We us a locked carrier for our trips to keep our gear well secure.

Thank you for explaining. I just want a roof rack for looks so that sucks. “Laughs”
The 2dr is sweet but looking to start a family soon so the wife may only authorize a 4dr! I may have to consider a aftermarket rack if it doesn’t interfere with my warranty

You can still buy the Ford rack setup that the non Sasquatch can order. It’s just not offered as a DIO.
