Slideout tailgate and tailgate table

I really wanted the slide out tailgate in addition to the tailgate table. My dealer said they wouldn't be compatible. I don't really understand how the two would effect the other?

I am pretty sure they are as the Tailgate juts out on the driver side and the tailgate table doesn't extend past that. Check out RockSlide Engineerrings table over Fords

Don’t hold me to this because I didn’t do any research but the only thing that comes to mind is that the slide out table installs onto the bronco floor (and mostly covers the full trunk floor) and is x” tall. Then the fold down table installs onto the trunk door and is y” thick.

When you try to close the door, the fold down table may bump into the slide out table. You might have too much interference.

Functionally, though, if the door is open then you wouldn’t have an issue. Might be a pain in the butt to have to keep uninstalling the fold down table so you can close the trunk door lol

Nope, the Bronco tailgate on the driver's side has a portion that comes out further than the rest containing the locking mechanism approx 2-3 inches

Rockslide has a great pic. BLue circle is the part that comes out with the locking mechanism and the left side has a storage box that I would guess would be close to the pullout table too

DeeZee definitely had one similar, that one sticks out on the top of my mind.

And @ResidualGenius is right, RTR has the modular accessory mount system.

They had so many products there -- I can see why they only submitted one specific to Bronco in the SEMA catalogue -- would have been a full-time job to do them all! :geek: But one was enough to put them on people's radar.

I did notice on teh DeeZee in your photo there will be an issue opening the tailgate more than 90 with cans on the back and especially with the RTR set-up
