No cup holders???

So, I have been planning on getting the MGV interior on my Badlands since day one however, I just noticed in the MY22 B&P description that if you choose the MGV option, you do not get the fold down armrest that has the two additional cup holders in the back seat? I have kids so def need more than TWO cup holders in a vehicle but never saw that this was an issue when I did the B&P for my initial MY21. Did something change? Or did I just completely miss that detail until now?? I was not interested in the leather option, especially at that price...but now I have to ask myself...do I essentially pay $2195 for the option of two additional cup holders? I don't understand why they would not include that with the MGV so does anyone have that with cup holders?

Yep, rear cupholders on the 4-door come with leather. Nothing's changed. Keep in mind that if you get leather you lose the washout floors.

You could hang some MOLLE drink holders on the back of the seats, but that's obviously not as good as real cupholders.

Yep, always has been a leather-only option for whatever reason!

Yep I think this is a big miss by Ford. Every car on the road now has cup holders out the wazoo, but Ford chose to force a leather interior to get them. STUPID!!!

When you say leather interior does that include vinyl with leather trim? Like what is offered on the Badlands.

Same...but maybe I'll just keep my son's booster seat in there and have my passengers sit on that for cup holders. :ROFLMAO:

I remember when you had to hang a little thing on the door card for a cup holder. But those were usually reserved for 12 oz beer. We kids had to wait till we got to where ever it was we were going. But ash trays we had those all over in the cars.

I didn't know so many people were worried about where to put their beers in the back! But, I can guess we all can blame Ford for the drinking problems created over the very long wait

I have been exploring options to have cup holders in the back of a Badlands with MGV. With the Molle grid on the back seats I have found an option from YETI. I got the larger versions. These should be able to easily attach and provide a good option. It is actually called a bottle sling and has a strap that you can connect and use while you are on the go.

I grew up without a damn seat at times! My mom used to take me and my sis to music lessons, and I'd get stuffed in the rear compartment of a 1975 Corvette - WITH my guitar case!
