Modular Front Bumper costing me more!?

Has anyone else come across this yet:

2021 order for a Badlands included the modular front bumper in the price. 2022 they came out with an additional bumper (capable) as standard on the higher packages (including my Badlands) and made the modular an optional upgrade for $575. I was told I was price protected on what I had on my 2021 order when they made me switch to to a 2022 and that the bumper would not cost me more. Has anyone else had this experience or "upgraded" to the modular bumper when they had to reorder 2022? I'm now being charged for the modular that was included in my trim. At the dealership right now trying to get it sorted, but curious if others had to pay more for it after they were moved to 2022?

My dealer just threw up his hands and said I don’t know I guess we will find out when the Bronco gets here .

The price protection should cover the cost of the Mod bumper, and one reason they are giving it to us 2021 people that ordered before March 19th 2021. I'm going with the capable bumper so I'll have the factory fog light wiring.

Yeah, I dropped the HD Bumper on my MY22 Reorder.

Dealer was meeting with his manager and others after I walked him through the details and showed him an email where I was told I wouldn't pay more for it. They did right by me in the end. I couldn't be happier with this vehicle and my how my dealer handled this.

If this helps: you "pay" more for it when ordering, but Ford provides price protected customers a check rebate upon delivery.

Yes, that's the issue I was having. I was told that when I had to re-order, but today when it was delivered and I was given an invoice, it included that additional $575 and I had to go back and forth with them to explain why it shouldn't. In the end, they adjusted it and did give me the rebate.

It will show up. They need to provide you the ‘rebate’ to offset the cost. Google it and you’ll find the info. It is on the Ford site too.
