Cyber Orange

I'm curious, too.
I had the same decision to make - those were my two color choices, also.
I finally wen with C.O. based on the photos I've seen. It's clearly more yellow than orange, but it changes with the angle of the light hitting it, so angled surfaces are more orange-appearing.

Orange is a combination of primary colors red and yellow. Most folks' concept of standard orange would be somewhere in the middle of this spectrum above. Cyber Orange is somewhere along the yellow side, perhaps about 30% from the right/yellow edge. It is definitely NOT yellow, however, and I would argue that it is closer to orange (middle) than yellow (right edge).

The Cyber Orange is a great color in person. It does change as the lighting changes which I think is intended, and it is the same with the Cactus Gray and Area 51 colors. We all see colors differently so go with what looks best to your eyes.

I haven't seen a single person, that had witnessed the color in person, say anything other than "it's definitely yellow". The pictures I liked most of CO were the ones where it looked a golden burnt orange, and those pictures looked like they were taken during sunset. For the majority of light levels, seasons, shade etc, CO will look yellow. It's still my choice, since it's the only good pop color that also has some exclusiveness. But because of mansquatch, my dealer will be calling me back this summer to order a my22. I will not be sad to see CO replaced with a different pop color. And I have my fingers crossed it'll be grabber lime or similar.

I saw the color on a Bronco and it is Orange juice yellow . I'm sure Ford was trying to be funny when they chose it . It should have been named Cyber O.J.
It's a good color but I've never been a fan of yellow vehicles so it's not for me . The pics taken at sunset are heavily saturated also . I think people play with editing to make some of these colors look how they want them to look , which is confusing to the viewer :)

I saw it on a Ranger on a snowy overcast day and it really lacked the metallic flake that I thought it would have. Orange juice yellow is the best description I’ve heard @Rydfree. I also saw a velocity blue ranger on the same day.

Kubota's are orange.

Thanks all. I think I'll go with the CO and just hope I love it. But how could I not?!?

I feel, much like the Cactus Grey, it’s very subjective to you and the environment. I do think it looked more Yellow than Orange in the 15 seconds I saw it as they pulled off the lot. :( I wanted to look at it closer because it was on my list.

Agree with you in many respects. It is complicated by the fact that CO is advertised as a Metallic Tri-Coat paint, which implies that the perceived color is absolutely dependent on the lighting environment. Same is true for Cactus Grey - I just can't get a lock on what the hell that color is...

Another example: You look at this and there is nothing yellow about it. And BTW, don't the 37's look great on this FrankenBronco?

That’s a good example of it out in natural light. The ones from inside the plant are flooded with the flouresant shop lights which make it look more yellow

That photo is so heavily saturated the driver is also turning orange ,lol .

A little more true to life...

I saw a Ranger on dealer lot and thought "This is Cyber Orange" It looks more yellow in person.
