On February 3, Ford emailed a "hand-raiser" survey to determine interest in the 2022 Bronco Raptor. The email went out to both order holders and reservation holders. Today, customers have been receiving one of two emails: a "selected to order" or an update on interest.
Selected to Order
Customers who have been receiving the "selected to order" version were chosen by reservation timestamp. Ford is planning to open the order banks in March for those selected, and customers will work with their dealer to finalize details. The communication notes that final transaction details, including price, are between the customer and the dealer. As a reminder: Ford has previously encouraged customers to maintain a signed price agreement with their dealer on orders.
Update on Interest
Customers who received an update –– thanking them for their interest but letting them know they will not be able to order a Bronco Raptor yet –– are also encouraged to work with their dealers to secure another Bronco series.
Customers out of the running for a Bronco Raptor this year still have an opportunity to secure another special-edition vehicle: the just-revealed 2022 Bronco Everglades, exclusively available for ordering in MY22 by unscheduled order holders and unconverted reservation holders. Order banks for the Everglades open in March, with deliveries beginning in the summer.
