Bronco Profile: Wildtrak

11

The Wildtrak, starting at $46,980, is the desert runner Bronco built with an emphasis on speed. Though fully capable as an all-around off-road vehicle, it excels in conditions like you might find in the Baja 1000. Most of what you get in the Outer Banks, you get here too, plus a load of extras.

A standard Mold-In-Color (MIC) hard top on 4-Door and Wildtrak graphics distinguish this Bronco from the rest of stable, while the 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine—optional on other trim levels—comes standard. Everything in the Mid package, combined with the Sasquatch package, comes standard too.

  1. I think you mean ‘desert’, instead of ‘dessert’ in the first sentence? I believe all Broncos are dessert runners!

    1. Great catch, Todd. We’ll get that corrected. My mom always used to say, “Dessert has two S’s cause you always want more of it.” In all fairness to deserts though, I don’t think she’s ever been to one.

      1. This doesn’t have much to do with a Bronco, but reminds me of my friends mom, and what she used to say when her kids would ask if there was any dessert after their meal, She would declare in a loud voice, “Dessert?, Desert the table!”

    2. Can anyone decipher, what exactly the difference could be between the standard: (Storage bag -front row top panels- for on- vehicle storage) and the available option of :(Storage bag- front row top panels- for off- vehicle storage)?

  2. Love the wild trak, but the interior colors is the only thing that is holding me back, tan dash with blue accent grab handles? For the 2nd most expensive bronco on the list should have better color choices, or offer solid black interior like Bad lands, rethinking of not to purchase because of interior colors, exterior wise you guys hit out of the park excellent but interior big zero on color choice

    1. I agree totally, for a vehicle that costs as much as the Wildtrak, you would think the grab handles would match either the exterior vehicles color or at least a neutral color….not blue!

  3. Something missing here under Sasquatch Package – “7 Final Drive Ratio with Electronic-locking Front and Rear Axle”?

  4. little disappointed with the cactus grey color been looking at one color with light green hue for many months and now with update color looks like a boring grey.
