Any other new members going to be there on that date?

My wife is a little apprehensive since she's never been offroading and I'm never actually driven on offroading.

Previous attendees. How should my wife dress? Will mud, water and dirt be flying and will she freak out on this experience?

I can't wait to attend and am staying in the area for a few days afterwards.

This is for the Maryville, TN location. Forgot to put that in the title. 😀

Dress for the weather and being outdoors. I would do a lightweight pants and shirt, Hiking shoes/boots, Hat and plenty of sunblock. also take water and snacks for while out on the trails. Ask lot's of questions, drive whenever possible and answer the guides questions to get stickers. it is a lot of information but as long as you listen to your guide/spotter you will be ok. I would video/take pictures whenever you can.. also dont forget to enjoy the experience. we had a good time when we went to the Texas location.

What Off-roadeo location? At our Off-roadeo in NH, women were in jeans or leggings. Nobody has to get in the mud. Wear sneakers--no flip-flops. Bring a jacket just in case. Relax, pay attention, and have fun!

Do both of you a favor and let the wife drive some. She will learn not to fear it and you can watch when the guides are spotting to Learn why they put a tire where they do.
We did Texas twice, if that is the one you are going to in September wear shorts or cool pants and hiking shoes and sun screen you will be good.

We are going to the Tennessee location as that is closest to Missouri.
The wife has no interest in driving the Bronco so not sure she would even attempt it. 😂

Dress like you’d be hiking the area and you’ll be fine. In Moab, we were in and out of the vehicles to check out obstacles and learn spotting. My biggest piece of advice is jump right in and enjoy it. Everyone is there to learn.

There are a couple threads here from people who have gone to the Tennessee Off-roadeo and it seems like a great time. I will be going there, but on October 9. I have been to the one in NH and one for the Bronco Sport in Moab. Great time at both. I agree with all the comments here, plan on participating in the questions and even try spotting for someone. The guides are great and very helpful. Enjoy your day in Sept.
The Off-roadeo
website also has information about how to prepare and what to bring; that is another great resource.
